People's Climate Movement - Bay Area

On April 29th, come to Lake Merritt for a family-friendly event, which will feature local community leaders (including Rep. Barbara Lee!), climate activists, musical and spoken word performances (Emcee'd by Marga Gomez), climate scientists, information booths, and a variety of hands-on activities for all ages. Then link hands around the Lake. Spread the word!

Interested in volunteering with NorCalPCA? We will be hosting a table during the event and would love for RPCVs to come by, share their Peace Corps stories with other attendees, and help spread awareness about the importance of Peace Corps service! If you think you can: 1) Swing by and help man the table, 2) Bring some cool show n' tell items from your country of service, or 3) Bring an actual table for us to borrow -- we've secured the space, but the event is BYO table -- Please let NorCalPCA Board Director Lila know at Lila@NorCalPCA.org!
